Catherine Luu

Advisory Board Member

Catherine is committed to improving food access and health equity for underserved populations. She currently serves as a Nutrition Incentive Coordinator for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH) where she designs and manages nutrition incentive pilots to serve low-income New Yorkers. Prior to joining NYC DOHMH, she served as a Program Manager for Wholesome Wave where she oversaw the implementation the Fruit and Vegetable Prescription Program at health centers and hospitals across the country. Catherine also worked with Share Our Strength to launch Cooking Matters Los Angeles.

In addition to program management and community relations, she also has expertise in evaluation, human-centered design, and marketing. Catherine holds an MPH in Nutrition from New York University and a BA in Communications and Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles, and she is also a certified chef.
