FY27 New York State Budget PRIORITIES

The New York City Food Policy Alliance is a network of 60+ food system stakeholders that advocate for public policies and funding to ensure equitable access to a healthy, sustainable food system. New York City residents are facing increased food insecurity in the wake of unprecedented federal cuts and changes to food security and nutrition assistance programs. In the FY27 New York State budget, we urge the state to include funding that will ensure New Yorkers can continue to feed their families while also ensuring the long-term resilience of the local food system.
